The Barn at Mello View
The Barn is located at the top of our vegetable garden and has the best view of Axe Valley on the property. It’s perfect for our supper clubs, weddings and private events. Not only will you have a front row seat to what Ed’s cooking in the kitchen, there are also large double doors located in the middle that allow guests to easily enjoy both the barn and the garden.
Supper Clubs
Throughout the year we host our supper clubs in our barn or on the terrace at Mello View. Guests share dinner around our table with views over the beautiful Axe Valley. Chat with Ed as he prepares your meal in the open-plan kitchen or on our wood-fired oven during warmer evenings. We use as much fresh produce from the Mello View kitchen garden as we can, otherwise, we use local, seasonal produce.
Barn Hire
The Barn is also available for private hire, fitting 90 people standing and 50 people seated.
This would be perfect for a small wedding or birthday. We’ve also been known to host a stag or two! In the warmer months we can fit a few more people with tables spilling out into the garden with stunning views of Axe Valley to enjoy.
Kitchen
In pursuit of our quest for self-sufficiency, all meat on Mello View's menus comes from our own livestock. Vegetables and herbs are very frequently from our own garden, with any seasonal shortfalls met by the organic market gardens local to us.
